If you plan a longer tour visiting various places in Spain, the best way to travel to Alicante is definitely by train. Once you visit Spain, use the services of the Spanish rail company RENFE. The narrow gauge Alicante train station is located close to the harbor at the end of the central Postiguet beach, several hundreds of meters away from the Hotel Melia. Here you can take a tram that goes to a nearby town of Campello.

3. Alicante travel by bus
The bus lines connect Alicante with the rest of the province, as well as with other larger cities in Spain or Europe. Taking a bus is the best option when traveling to nearby towns, such as Elche, Torrevieja or Benidrom - Manhattan of the Mediterranean.
