When traveling to nearby town along Costa Blanca (such as Benidorm, Calpe, Denia and Altea) you can take a local train. The narrow gauge Alicante train station is located close to the harbor at the end of the central Postiguet beach, several hundreds of meters away from the Hotel Melia. Here you can take a tram that goes to a nearby town of Campello.

3. Alicante travel by bus
The bus lines connect Alicante with the rest of the province, as well as with other larger cities in Spain or Europe. Taking a bus is the best option when traveling to nearby towns, such as Elche, Torrevieja or Benidrom - Manhattan of the Mediterranean. The central bus station is located in the middle of Portugal street, about 150 m from Maisonnave Avenue. There you can find offices of a lot Spain travel agencies, such as ALSA or EUROLINES.

4. Alicante travel by boat
