Alicante Bus Station
Many tourists have problems finding Alicante Bus Station. It is a bit hidden, but very close to the main shopping street – the Maisonnave Avenue.

You can find it in the Portugal street, that is orthogonal to the Maisonnave Avenue. Just look for a large blue building, surrounded by taxis and numerous bars.
| There are many companies operating in Alicante Bus Station, offering regular connections to nearby towns, as well as to other regions in Spain. Moreover, there are also connections to other European countries, like France, Romania or Bulgaria. |  |
 | At the Alicante bus station, you can ask about buses from Alicante, as well as about buses to Alicante for your return ticket. | Passing through the main entrance, you can find taxis or take a coffee in one of the bars across the Portugal street. At the outside corner of the bus station building you can find the office of Tourist Info Alicante and ask for more Alicante tourist information. | |
 | Important note: in front of the lateral side of the bus station, there is a bus stop of C-6 bus line that takes you directly to the Alicante Airport. |
The most important note:
ALWAYS watch your baggage! NEVER leave it unattended! I strongly advice you (from my personal experience in 2004): watch carefully for it. Putting your baggage on the floor while looking in the other direction, asking for information or buying a ticket, you could easily loose your personal belongings. Take this note seriously whether you are in the station or on the crowded beach. Take care! |  |
